This position has an in-office requirement of 3 days per week [T, W & Th] from our Minneapolis, MN office. We value human connection and collaboration.

Position Summary:

Starting this summer, Bold Orange is seeking an ambitious, bold, entrepreneurial spirit to join our growing, future focused agency. As a supporting pillar of our stellar Analytics team, you can expect to collaborate with the best of the best to aid in strategic data insights and recommendations that produce forward thinking, top notch, customer experiences. The Analytics Intern is curious, analytical, creative, and insightful, and works to support “out of the box” data analysis and insight development from start to finish.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client-facing dynamic dashboards and ad hoc analysis utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Data Studio, R/ Python and/or SQL
  • Document and configure media and event tags in Google Tag Manager, to enable comprehensive measurement in Google Analytics 4, in order to fully understand site experience and customer behavior
  • Analyze and share findings on digital performance, from site, first- and third- party, and ad hoc data pulls, in service of ongoing client deliverables
  • Review and QA analytics data, reports, and/or PPT content, with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
  • Actively listen, communicate and participate in meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions. (in person, by phone or video conference)
  • Serve as a constant resource to the Analytics & Insights team
  • Additional duties as requested

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Senior or recent grad with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information and Decision Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or similar field
  • Have site and digital analysis skills using various programs (Google Analytics 4, R, Python, SciKit-learn, Pytorch and/or SQL) strongly preferred
  • Have exposure to data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce)
  • Have prior experience in web tagging (Google Tag Manager or others) or website data and event management preferred
  • Possess strong data, analytic, and quantitative skills
  • Strong interest in marketing
  • A “can-do” approach to life
  • A curious mindset, always asking “why” and “what else"
