Job Purpose

 

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Manager of Finance for the ICE Mortgage Technology (IMT) segment. This Atlanta or Jacksonville‑based role reports to the Sr. Director of Finance for IMT and partners closely with senior leadership, including the President of Mortgage, COO of Mortgage, CFO, and President.

 

The Manager of Finance oversees a team of financial analysts and plays a critical role in managing expenses, analyzing revenue, and delivering financial insights to support strategic decision‑making. This role also develops key performance indicators, leads monthly reporting, supports the annual budget process, and generates monthly forecasts for the IMT segment.

 

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts, ensuring strong performance, prioritization, and professional growth.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations related to expense and revenue management within IMT.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, and Business Unit leadership.
• Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
  • Lead the monthly financial forecast process, ensuring alignment with business trends and strategic direction.
  • Manage the development of segment-level revenue and expense drivers and ensure clarity around financial impacts.
  • Oversee creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of management reporting packages.
  • Present financial analyses and insights to finance leadership and senior executives.
  • Support the annual budget process and preparation of executive and Board-level materials.
• Revenue & Expense Management
  • Drive expense planning, monitoring, and variance analysis for operational and headcount-related spend.
  • Lead revenue analysis including pipeline trends, bookings, renewals, pricing, and product performance.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee KPI development and ensure timely reporting to leadership.
• Strategic & Operational Analysis
  • Evaluate new product opportunities, pricing strategies, and strategic initiatives.
  • Produce weekly reporting and insights related to market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses supporting operational initiatives, performance improvement, and business growth.

 

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or finance experience
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 

Preferred  Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Oracle systems, Tableau, or Salesforce
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort with financial systems
• Experience in SaaS, financial markets, exchanges, or the mortgage/fintech industry
• Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts and SaaS financial metrics
