Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will be involved in palletizing and shrink wrapping products, as well as cleaning and sanitizing work stations. You will move products and materials using a manual pallet jack, weigh products before they are transported to the warehouse, and record digital weights on a small scale. This role involves physical tasks such as moving bags weighing up to 50lbs, and pushing and pulling bowls on wheels that weigh up to 1,000 lbs.

• Palletize and shrink wrap products.
• Clean and sanitize work stations.
• Move products and materials with a manual pallet jack.
• Weigh products before transporting to the warehouse.
• Read and record digital weights on a small scale.
• Move bags weighing up to 50lbs.
• Push and pull bowls weighing up to 1,000 lbs on wheels.
• Ensure compliance with company policy for handling items over 50lbs.

• Experience in a general labor, construction, manufacturing, or general labor environment within the last 5 years.
• At least 1 year of continuous employment with the same company in the last 5 years.
• Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours.

• Familiarity with production, assembly, packaging, and food manufacturing processes.
• Experience with machine operation in a manufacturing setting.

Work in a small town setting with a team of 30 full-time employees. Safety is paramount, and adherence to good manufacturing practices is required. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, hair nets, eye protection, jeans, shirts, bump caps, and lab coats. Clothing must be free of rips and embellishments. The work environment can be hot in the summer, reaching up to 90 degrees in some rooms, while remaining comfortable in the winter. Orientation is conducted on-site, lasting 3-4 hours, and candidates may start work depending on their shift schedule. Night shifts operate from 6pm-6:30am on a rotating schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albert Lea, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Albert Lea,MN.
