Job Title: General Production Worker 3rd shift $20/hr

• Job Description
• We are seeking dedicated general production workers for a temporary project expected to last until June 2026. This opportunity is due to a department transition, specifically the Cannery department, as the business shifts focus to meet the high demand for pouches. The role involves various responsibilities such as filling, mixing, and machine operating in the wet department, which specializes in canning food. Comfort with computers is essential for success in this position. This is considered a Skilled Laborer role requiring prior manufacturing experience.
• Responsibilities
  • Filling Associate: Transfer frozen blocks of meat from pallets to a table and then back onto the block conveyor.
  • Forklift Operator: Move ingredients and packing from storage locations to production lines and back. Empty dumpsters.
  • Gravy Operator: Create gravy batches, follow formulas, use HMI screens for the processing system, and lift at least 60lbs.
  • Utility: Relieve gravy, mixer, steamer, and hydro roles. Must know all four jobs.
  • Mixer Operator: Create meat batches, follow formulas, use HMI screens for the processing system, and lift at least 60lbs.
  • Equipment Cleaner: Clean the processing area when not needed to fill in on a job. Needs to know all nine jobs.
  • Seamer Operator: Feed the seamer with can ends, inspect ends for damage, and monitor the line for proper can filling.
  • Utility Packing: Relieve or operate a piece of equipment, needs to know all jobs.
  • Variety Pack Tech: Operate every piece of equipment in all departments.
• Essential Skills
  • Manufacturing experience is a must.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bloomsburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bloomsburg,PA.
