This hybrid role blends traditional paralegal responsibilities with hands‑on investigative work, including regional travel to meet clients and gather essential case information.

Position Overview

The Paralegal/Legal Investigator will support attorneys handling complex plaintiff litigation. This role involves both in‑office paralegal work and travel for client meetings, interviews, and investigative tasks . The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients during sensitive moments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews and gather case‑critical information
• Travel to meet clients, witnesses, and families as needed
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and case summaries
• Assist with medical record collection, review, and organization
• Support attorneys with case development and trial preparation
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation
• Perform investigative tasks, including background research and fact development

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal , Legal Assistant , or Legal Investigator (plaintiff experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel regularly within the region
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with clients in emotionally sensitive situations
• Proficiency with legal software and case management tools
