Roddy Baptist Church, located just south of Cochran, GA in Dodge County, is prayerfully seeking a pastor. We are in the small community of Roddy, and a member of the Dodge County Baptist Association. Our services are Sunday morning Bible Study and worship, evening worship/Bible Study, and Wednesday night Prayer Meeting/Bible Study. A pastorium is available, if needed.
We are seeking a pastor who:
Will preach the inerrant, infallible and inspired word of God without compromise and must affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Some prior pastoral experience is preferred.
Will shepherd the church family in all aspect of our worship and ministry.
Will attend Ministry Group meetings as necessary or requested.
Will take part in administrative duties of the church.
Will assist deacons and church family in the visitation of new prospects, new residents, the bereaved, sick/shut-in, and hospitalized members.
Is committed to promoting and be actively involved in evangelistic outreach.
While a theological degree is not required, some formal training and study is desired.
