Job Description

The Server is responsible for providing professional table service, managing a section of tables, and representing the restaurant's brand through amazing hospitality. They must be experts on the menu, proactive in following the steps of service, and efficient in coordinating with both the kitchen and bar staff. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, present menus, explain daily specials, and offer informed recommendations for food and beverage pairings.
  • Order Management: Accurately record food and drink orders and enter them into the  Point-of-Sale (POS) system .
  • Service Excellence: Deliver dishes promptly, monitor table progression, and perform "silent service" tasks such as refilling water and clearing used plates/glassware.
  • Safety & Compliance: Verify guest identification for alcohol service and communicate all dietary restrictions or  food allergies clearly to the kitchen.
  • Financial Transactions: Present itemized checks, process various payment types (cash, credit, digital), and handle all transactions with 100% accuracy.
  • Sidework: Complete assigned opening, closing, and running duties, such as polishing silverware, stocking service stations, and resetting tables. 
Requirements & Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to resolve guest complaints with  empathy and professionalism .
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hour shifts while carrying heavy trays (up to 30–50 lbs).
  • Multitasking: Proven ability to manage high-volume service and multiple tables simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of experience in a full-service or fine-dining setting is typically preferred.
  • Certifications: Indiana server alcohol permit required. must be 18 or older to apply.
Working Conditions
Servers work in a fast-paced environment that requires constant movement and high-pressure decision-making. Shift work is standard, including nights, weekends, and major holidays. CLOSED ON SUNDAYS!!
