Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst
This is a standout opportunity for a hands-on, analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-growing technology organization and play a key role in financial planning, performance analysis, and business intelligence.
If you enjoy digging into data, building financial models, partnering cross-functionally, and turning complex information into actionable insights, this role offers meaningful impact, exposure to senior leadership, and room to grow within a modern, high-performing Finance team.

The Company

Our client is a high-growth, international technology company with a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and thoughtful leadership. They operate in a mission-driven space and continue to scale globally through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
Their Finance organization is evolving quickly, embracing analytics and modernized reporting to support business decisions at scale. This is an environment where strong analysts are trusted, empowered, and encouraged to contribute strategically.

The Role

This is a true FP&A-focused Senior Financial Analyst role with direct exposure to leadership and cross-functional partners. You’ll support planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic business analysis while helping drive insights across the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align GTM strategies with financial goals. Partner closely with RevOps teams on capacity planning.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly performance reviews, translating budget-to-actual variances into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models for GTM initiatives, aligning with revenue and operational goals.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports highlighting key variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Cost Efficiency & ROI Analysis: Evaluate the return on investment of GTM initiatives and provide recommendations for optimizing spend and resource allocation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to streamline reporting and improve efficiency.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct strategic analysis and build models to support key initiatives across GTM teams.

The Candidate:

You’re a curious, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with data and influencing business outcomes. You bring strong FP&A fundamentals, excellent modeling skills, and experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

What they’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business analysis.
  • Experience in high-growth, SaaS, or technology environments, investment banking, or financial consulting is an asset.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; comfortable influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Google Workspace, Pigment, or similar).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious and forward-thinking, with a strong desire to make a measurable impact on the business.

Compensation:

$111,400 – $131,000 + Equity, depending on experience and qualifications.

The total compensation package includes:

  • Health & dental benefits.
  • RRSP match.
  • Unlimited PTO, with a minimum of 20 business days.
  • Flexible work arrangements.

Where:

Remote across the US and the West Coast area preferred.
